On August 31st, Montessori educators, students, and families celebrate the 152nd anniversary of Dr. Maria Montessori’s birth. Dr. Montessori was a pioneer, a visionary, and laid the foundation for a shift in education and the way the world views children. In particular, she believed children create a path to peace for all mankind.
Each day, we strive to live up to the ideals she outlined for us. It is up to each of us to keep her spirit alive and remember why we commit ourselves to her method of education.
