After a restful winter break, Keystone Montessori is busy planning and preparing for a busy second semester. Please take a look at some of the events happening on campus in the coming weeks!
- We would like to extend a warm welcome to all of our new Keystone Families! We have a number of new students that have been welcomed to our community after winter break. Please join us in making them feel welcome!
- Tuesday, January 18th at 6:00pm is our next Community and Classroom Meeting. Please mark your calendars! An RSVP will be sent via SchoolCues. For our Community Meeting, we are thrilled to announce our guest speaker for the event, Ishwar Pokharel, a very talented school principal from Kathmandu, Nepal has been studying at the Southwest Institute for Montessori Studies (SIMS) since early in 2020. He runs a government school of 600 children ages 3 through 18. He became convinced that he needed to transition his school step by step to Montessori in order to unleash the human potential of the children, many of whom live in poverty. His government was in agreement and has supported his efforts. We are thrilled to welcome him to our school to share his experience with our community. At the conclusion of our Community Meeting, individual classroom meetings will take place.
- Planning for Keystone’s beloved Montessori Journey is well underway. This event provides parents and community members with the opportunity to experience the child-centered, individualized approach developed by Dr. Maria Montessori over 100 years ago. Planning and preparations are underway, and additional information will be shared soon. Please mark your calendars for Friday, January 28th and Saturday, January 29th to join us for the 2022 Montessori Journey.
- Re-Enrollment for the 2022-23 school year will begin in February. Please watch for important updates and information regarding enrollment. Should you have any questions throughout the process, you may reach out to Ms. Heather for assistance. We look forward to another wonderful year at Keystone, and we appreciate your continued support!
