Gratitude from The Great Gatsby

Gratitude from The Great Gatsby

Keystone Montessori’s annual fall fundraiser, The Great Gatsby, was held on Saturday, November 7th. Our event this year was a huge success, and we are pleased to report that through your generosity we have raised $156,700 so far!

The day began with our families visiting the “speakeasy” to pick up their delicious meals and amazing activity baskets for the students. We would like to thank our volunteers who made the “drive-through” process go so well! It was a colossal task preparing the meals and baskets for easy and safe pick up, and they made it look easy! Each family was greeted by staff and volunteers who were dressed in their best “Roaring 20’s” attire to serve up the meals and baskets directly to each car.

Our Zoom table hosts did a fantastic job when the live auction got underway on campus, and we had a wonderful time seeing so many of you through the computers. The bidding was fast and furious as our favorite auctioneer, Daren Shumway, kept us entertained all night. Ms. Laura was on stage to showcase the live auction items and only left her post to pop into each of the Zoom tables and keep up the excitement! The highlight of everyone’s evening was the unexpected shower when the sprinklers started right in the middle of bidding on the Red-Tailed Hawks classroom project, appropriately entitled, Umbrellas! If you missed it, we highly recommend watching the replay that is posted on Facebook!

We are grateful to our families for your continued support as we approached our favorite school event in a new way, and we are humbled by your overwhelming generosity. Please browse the Social Season parties that are available and the items listed in the Buy it Now Boutique

As we say goodbye to The Great Gatsby for this year, we are already planning for next year’s fall festival! Thank you for being part of our Keystone Family and for your generous spirt that continues to fill our hearts!
