Keystone Adolescent Class Presents "Lost and Foundling"

The adolescents have collaborated with the professionals of Childsplay, Inc. in Tempe for 13 years under the direction of Ms. Deb Stevens. The students are involved in the selection of the play and work closely with Ms. Stevens in all aspects of professional theater production. Students not only audition for acting parts, but also serve in various capacities such as, marketing and advertising, costume design, audio and media design, set design, stage management, props, and creating the offcial playbill. This project allows the adolescents to explore areas which may not be considered when thinking of work in theater and gives them the opportunity to create in a professional environment, understanding the expectations and the value of personal responsibility in cooperation with a group and for self-expression. This year’s production, “Lost and Foundling”, a scripted play by Eric R. Pfef nger, was performed on December 18th in the Keystone Gym to a full audience.
