WINTER HAPPENINGS AT KEYSTONE

WINTER HAPPENINGS AT KEYSTONE

After a restful winter break, Keystone Montessori is busy planning and preparing for a busy first quarter. Please take a look at some of the events happening on campus in the coming weeks!

  • The Keystone at Home Family Challenge continues with weekly challenges intended to add some fun family time for our students. Each week the new challenge will be posted to our Facebook and Instagram page and sent out via SchoolCues. We enjoy seeing your participation and updates. If you do not have a Facebook account, please feel free to email your photos to Ms. Heather at heather@keystonemontessori.com and she will post them for you!
  • Tuesday, January 19th at 6:00pm is our next Community and Classroom Meeting. Please mark your calendars! Invitations will be sent via SchoolCues. For our Community Meeting, we are thrilled to announce our guest speaker for the event, Kathy Minardi. Based in Washington, DC, Kathy Minardi contributes her expertise as a Montessorian with extensive training in transformational leadership and organizational development.  Kathy has been a school leader for over 40 years, including 17 years at Aidan Montessori School, one of the oldest Montessori schools in the US. After our Community Meeting, individual classroom meetings will take place. The Adolescent meeting will have a guest speaker on suicide prevention.
  • The beloved Montessori Journey event will be held in a new way this year! The Montessori Journey provides parents and community members with the opportunity to experience the child-centered, individualized approach developed by Dr. Maria Montessori over 100 years ago. Planning and preparations are underway, and additional information will be shared soon. Please mark your calendars for Saturday, January 30th to join us for the 2021 Montessori Journey.
  • Re-Enrollment for the 2021-22 school year will begin on February 15th. Please watch for important updates and information regarding enrollment. Should you have any questions throughout the process, you may reach out to Ms. Heather for assistance. We look forward to another wonderful year at Keystone, and we appreciate your continued support!

We wish each of you a very happy New Year. Looking ahead to the excitement of things to come fills us with hope and a renewed sense of community. Keystone Montessori continues its mission to inspire children with a passion for a lifetime love of learning, and we thank you for joining us on this journey.
