Dear Iguana Families,
Welcome to May, the last month of the school year. Wow! Can you believe it? We have successfully had a wonderful school year with some more excitement and learning to come. We ended April celebrating Earth Day by demonstrating “My Place in the World” and creating posters of why we love Earth and what we can do to help our planet Earth. The children came up with some creative and beautiful words and pictures.
May and June Birthdays: Sarah, Layla, Antonella, River, Mayna, Amora and Luca.
Important Dates and Announcements:
May 1st: Author visit to the school
May 9th: Mercado (Children can bring money to buy from their fellow elementary students)
May 13th/14: End of the Year trip (Information was sent home and more info will come later)
May 19th-22nd: Last Week of School. Fun Week. More info as time gets closer
May 22nd: Last Day of School. Half Day!
