Dear Iguanas Families,
Welcome to February! January went by quickly, and we have been enjoying the cold weather. We ended January with a Korean New Year celebration! Ms. Janet
(Elena's mom) came in to share some Korean New Year traditions. She also cooked some Tteok Mandu Guk (Rice Cake Soup with Dumplings) with the children. Everyone got to participate in preparing the soup. It was so delicious that all the kids (and teachers!) wanted seconds. Thank you, Ms. Janet, for sharing these traditions and cooking with us!
February Birthdays: Madden (February 6th) and Rafe (February 5th)
Save the Date: February 27th, the Iguanas children will be performing a play for you! There will be more specific details to come as the time gets closer. We will start the process soon. This is always a fun and exciting time for the Iguanas classroom!
