Hello November! Wow, how time flies when you are having fun, working hard, and learning lots!
We would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to those families who helped contribute to our garden. We got lots of seeds, plants, and some soil. We appreciate your kindness and generosity. We will begin preparing the soil and planting all next week. The children are very excited and always love this time of the year when they get to be outside gardening.
Thanksgiving Potluck:
It is a tradition here in the Iguanas Classroom to have a teacher/student Thanksgiving Potluck in our classroom. Every child will sign up to bring a dish to share with the class. We will make placemats, join our tables together, reflect on what we are thankful for, and enjoy our feast together as the Iguanas Community. It is always one of the children's favorite days of the year. More information will be sent out as the date gets closer. Discuss with your child what dish you would like them to sign up for. The children will come up with a menu and sign up at school. We encourage traditional Thanksgiving food, or if you have a tradition at your house that your child would like to share with us.

Iguanas Potluck at Desert Foothills Park: November 2nd at 5:45pm
Veterans Day, November 10th: No School (Extended Care provided to those enrolled in the aftercare program)
Fall Festival: November 11th (click here to get your tickets)
Thanksgiving Break: November 22-24 - No School
