Dear Iguanas,
Happy September! We ended August by celebrating Maria Montessori's birthday. We read all about her life and how she created all the wonderful material we use today in the classroom. The children wrote her a letter and we sang happy birthday to her. Some children also chose to draw and paint a portrait of her. They turned out beautiful! We look forward to a wonderful September and hoping for some "cooler" weather.

Folders:
We will be sending home folders periodically with your child's finished work. Please EMPTY the folders with your child and SEND BACK the folders to the classroom for the next time they need to take home work.
