As we welcomed the arrival of spring, our class joyfully celebrated the Lantern Festival, marking the end of our Lunar New Year celebrations. The children had the special opportunity to taste tangyuan, a traditional food that symbolizes unity and happiness. Seeing their excitement as they enjoyed this sweet treat was truly heartwarming!
This month, we also embarked on an exciting journey—preparing for our class ecology presentations. The children formed different groups to research various ecosystems, carefully selecting their roles and writing their own scripts. But their creativity didn’t stop there! They are also crafting their own backgrounds using recycled materials, demonstrating their understanding of sustainability in a hands-on way. Right now, the classroom is buzzing with activity—some students are busy painting and assembling their ecosystems, while others are diligently memorizing their lines. Some have even mastered their scripts already! Next week, we will begin group rehearsals, bringing all their hard work to life.
To support their creativity, we kindly ask for your help during spring break. Please encourage your child to create their own costume using materials found at home instead of purchasing a ready-made one. This is a great opportunity for them to explore the concept of reusing and recycling while showcasing their creativity.
