Saguaros - October Update

Dear parents of the Saguaros classroom,

This week, the children had the opportunity to work on the classroom auction project. They enjoyed channeling their creativity and applying their art skills to produce a beautiful project. Thank you so much for your generous contributions to the auction project and raffle basket. A special thanks to the Saguaros' KeyParents, Christina Netherby, Daniela Kapadia, and Janet Rhew, for their hard work and dedication to our community.

The children have been introduced to the different seasons since Fall has begun. They have learned how the Earth orbits the sun and that the change in seasons is caused by how the Earth faces the sun. As such, they were presented with some new words, including northern hemisphere, southern hemisphere, orbit, and the equator. Additionally, they have been enjoying listening to composer Vivaldi's Fall piece.

We celebrated Luke's 6th birthday – Happy Birthday, Luke! A big thanks to Luke and his family for providing pizza for his classmates, which the children thoroughly enjoyed!

On behalf of the children,

Ms. Yoo-Kyung
