Prickly Pears - April Update

First of all, we wanted to express our gratitude for your kindness and support! We accomplished another wonderful week at the Prickly Pears classroom! We have been welcoming a significant number of students in our classroom, and the process of adaptation is taking place gradually. Some children easily adapted to the Prickly Pears classroom’s routines and transitions and some of the children are still in the process. Even a small change in children’s lives traces their character enhancing their adaptation skills. Our leaders have been guiding and mentoring their new classmates with grace and courtesy. Thank you Prickly Pears leaders! We are kindly asking the Prickly parents to apply sunscreen to their children before coming to school. This will help us transition smoothly through our school day. The Keystone Appreciation Day is a great opportunity to celebrate how wonderful our Montessori community is. We want to thank you for your unconditional support and commitment. Please join us on Saturday, March 29th from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm. Do not miss it! Our Prickly Pears’ Potluck is taking place on April 10th at 6:00 pm at Dessert Foothills Park. Our Prickly Pears Key Parents will send you more information about it. Please save the date! “The exercises, which children do, help their adaptation to the environment. The first adaptation to the environment is to become conscious of it. To become conscious, they need to acquire knowledge. Children acquire knowledge through experience in the environment. ” Dr. Montessori, The 1946 London Lectures, p. 123.
