Dear Prickly Pears families,
It is incredible that we are saying goodbye to the chilly weather to welcome the springtime. Spring is taking place in March 20th and we are ready to experience it through different classroom activities. Beautiful flowers and a nice breeze surrounds our outdoor environment inviting the Prickly Pears children to enjoy while they work happily. We already started our March equinox 2025 countdown performing circle time activities such as reading books aloud, singing songs related with the coming season, and playing games. We read the book Life Cycles: Everything from Start to Finished written and illustrated by Sam Falconer. The children started learning the Spanish song “ ¡Vamonos, Vamonos Afuera! written by Blanca Villalobos. The children loved it! Thank you for your generosity in donating flowers and vegetables seeds! We are kindly asking for soil donations to start our new planting season. If you have any clay pots at home that you do not use, we will be so happy to have them as well.
