Prickly Pears - November Update

The Prickly Pears children continued enjoying the nice weather in the outdoor environment. They have been having the opportunity to work, have movement, and nature walks gladly. This week, the children learned how to carve a pumpkin and watched how to dissect a pumpkin to learn its different parts to label them in English and Spanish. It was awesome! We read the book “Red Leaf, Yellow Leaf” by Lois Ehlert.

It is incredible! We are saying good bye to the month of the one of the most beautiful full moons, October. During this week, some of our families and their children brought beautiful flower plants and flower and vegetables seeds that we are planning to plant next week. Our Prickly Pears’ outdoor environment is looking great! Please, if you haven’t brought your flower plants, you are still welcome to do it on Monday. The children are so excited about it because they love to work in the outdoor environment.

We have been delighted welcoming you to have your observations and conferences. Your input and feedback is essential to continue supporting your children’s socio-emotional and academic development. Please check your date and time in your calendar. You can find the Observations and Conferences calendar posted on the first window of the Prickly Pears hallway. As always, thank you so much for your kindness and support! Have a lovely weekend!
