AZ Eagles - April Update

Hello, AZ Eagles families!

This week was a pretty busy and fun one, with it being spirit week. On Monday, the seventh graders analyzed and composed various poems, while the eighth graders were assigned to write two poems, one long form and the other short form. For humanities, our CSI group paid a visit to the Chandler police station while our Global Technology group met with a local Cybersecurity expert. Tuesday was packed with activity as we all prepared for the Tacos and Tequila event that night, but the eighth graders completed Lesson 2: Poetry, while the seventh graders composed two original poems, one chosen by a roulette wheel filled with strange prompts, and the other chosen by each author. On Wednesday, the last part of our Science textbook was checked, and some people created art for Thankful Thursday. Groups 3 and 2 had Spanish class while Group 1 worked in the kitchen to help prepare for our party. On Thursday, there was an AZ Eagles Marketplace sale, and eighth graders did test prep for the AASA test next week.  On Friday, the seventh graders checked Science, and both grades checked their math homework for the week. Friday ended with a half day. On Saturday, there will be a Keystone Appreciation event, which our entrepreneurs will attend to sell their goods to families and community members. We hope to see you there!

           Sincerely,

Katherine Dielen (8th Grader)
