AZ Eagles - October Update

Happy Fall to our AZ Eagles Families! We had an extraordinarily busy September upstairs in the AZ Eagles. In addition to our regular studies in Pre-Algebra and Algebra, Science, Literature, Writing, Latin, and Seminar, we were busy researching and writing our first reports of the year, with topics related to Ancient Egypt, Ancient China, and the Maya. Our historians created and delivered informative and engaging presentations of learning for the class and guides to enjoy.

Our aspiring entrepreneurs have been busy developing this year's small businesses in our Economics Occupation, for our AZ Eagles Marketplace. They've completed their market surveys, cost analysis, and logo designs. They're currently working on drafting their business plans in preparation for our microeconomy's upcoming version of Shark Tank (mid-Oct). That is when the entrepreneurs will pitch their businesses and product prototypes in hopes to make it through and secure start-up funds. This will enable them to prepare for our grand opening sale at the Secret Garden Fall Festival! Thank you to all the families who donated towards our Fall Feast class raffle basket. It's going to be fabulous!

Our Keystone Community Garden Committee held its first meeting on Sept. 25th. It's always wonderful to see our adolescents lead the effort in continuing to develop our school's garden. We appreciate the parents and staff that showed up to lend us their experience and expertise. Our adolescents have been planting lots of veggies in what we hope will be a bountiful harvest season.

All of our adolescents completed their audition forms (with headshots) for our upcoming auditions for this year's production of Snow White in collaboration with Childsplay. We're looking forward to auditions in mid-Oct. Otherwise, we're excited and ready for these warm temps. to cool down. We hope all of our families have a safe, restful, and wonderful fall break!
