Ms. Laura joined Keystone in 2011. Ms. Laura is responsible for the school's vision, management, and direction. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. She has a certificate of completion of the AMI Montessori Administrators course through the Southwest Institute of Montessori Studies and the Montessori Leadership program through Whole School Leadership in conjunction with Loyola University in Maryland. Ms. Laura loves to attend music concerts and once rode her bike from San Fransisco to Los Angeles for charity. She was born and raised in Arizona and is a proud mother of a Keystone alumna.
Mr. Stefan joined Keystone in 2002. He earned his Bachelor of Education from the Federal College of Education in Austria and holds an Elementary Diploma from the Association Montessori Internationale. Mr. Stefan is also an AMI Elementary Consultant and works with AMI to assist Montessori schools in seeking recognition. He grew up in Austria and is fluent in German and English. Stefan has 35 years of teaching experience. Once a year, he likes to be involved in a community theater production and enjoys tap dancing and traveling. 
Ms. Gina joined Keystone in 2021. She is originally from Yuma, Arizona, and holds an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education having taught many children over the years. She feels happy living in Phoenix and having made the switch to administrative work. In her free time, you'll mostly find her exploring the city, hiking, or painting.
Ms. Heather joined Keystone in 2019. She holds an American Montessori Society Early Childhood certification from Seton Montessori Institute in Clarendon Hills, Illinois, and spent 18 years as a Children's House Guide before moving into administration. Both of her children attended Montessori Schools, beginning at age three until they graduated from the adolescent level. Ms. Heather also enjoys reading, fishing, and spending time with family.
Mr. Mike joined Keystone in 2021. He is originally from South Korea and came to the United States over 50 years ago. Before coming to Keystone, he worked in construction for over 30 years. He now considers Keystone his "retirement" and loves to see the kids every day. He enjoys reading, golfing, and traveling with his wife. 
Ms. Sue joined Keystone in 2004. Ms. Sue maintains students’ registration, attendance, immunization records, and volunteer information. She enjoys football, family, and bowling. Ms. Sue is from Milwaukee, WI.
Kristin Morgan has worked with Keystone since 2016 and assists the school with business office functions. She graduated with a bachelor's in accounting from Grand Canyon University. She started her career in 1992 at the State of Arizona Office of the Auditor General, where she worked as a senior accountant in the Accounting Services Division.  In 2012, she branched out with two other partners to create Aspire Business Consultants, Inc., where she continues to service Arizona charter schools and non-profit organizations with budget and financial reporting, preparation of tax returns, and audit preparation.  Outside work, Kristin loves playing tennis and watching her son play baseball.  
Ms. Liza joined Keystone in 2023.  Ms. Liza spent 19 years as the Special Education Director for another Montessori school in the area. After a brief retirement, she felt called to join the Keystone staff to work with the students. Prior to working in a Montessori setting, she worked in Behavioral Health with children, adolescents, and adults in Illinois and Arizona. Both of Ms. Liza's sons attended Montessori. In her free time, she enjoys reading, walking, crafting, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. 
Ms. Melissa joined Keystone in 2018. She is responsible for the Sustaining Fund and Tax Credit Programs, charity fundraisers, and company matching. She studied Pre-Med Biology with an emphasis in Exercise and Sports Science at the University of Utah. She also holds a Post-Grad certificate in Non-Profit Management from ASU and her Master of Business Administration for Emerging Leaders. Ms. Melissa is originally from Traverse City, MI.
Ms. Abby joined Keystone in 2021. She earned her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education (Bilingual Education/English as a Second Language) from Barrett Honors College at ASU and an AMI 12-18 Orientation Certificate. Although she is an Arizona native, Ms. Abby comes to us from Madrid, Spain, where she taught English. Before moving to Spain, Ms. Abby taught English in the Roosevelt School District and worked for many years with the Ahwatukee Children’s Theater, where she teaches music. In her spare time, she loves traveling, cooking, playing her ukulele/piano, exercising, and spending time with her friends, family, and animals. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
Ms. Alejendra joined Keystone in 2016. She has a bachelor’s degree in Advertising Design from UNICO Autónoma de Guadalajara. Ms. Alejandra received her Montessori Children's House assistant certification. She moved to Arizona in 2001, has three sons, and loves working with children. She is originally from Mexico and is fluent in Spanish and English.
Ms. Amie joined Keystone in 2003. She holds an American Montessori Society Elementary certification, a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Arziona State University, and a Master's Degreee in Education from Ottawa University. She loves being in nature, camping, hiking, and fishing. Ms. Amie in an Arizona native, and a proud ASU Alumni who enjoys following the Sun Devil football program, and attending regular performances at ASU Gammage. Ms. Amie and her husband have two grown daughters who attended Keystone, and a fantastic four-year old granddaughter.
Ms. Ana joined Keystone in 2024. She was born and raised in Spain. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s in portfolio management. She completed her AMI Elementary training at the Montessori Training Center Northeast. She has significant leadership experience, having been a member of the school leadership team at the Montessori British School Murcia and Head of School at Elan Montessori British School. Ms. Ana is fluent in Spanish and English.
Ms. Ana joined Keystone in 2011. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art from Columbia College in Chicago and a post-baccalaureate teaching degree in Secondary Art Education from Trinity Christian College in Illinois. Ana holds an AMI 12-18 Orientation Certificate and an E-RYT 200 Yoga Certification with Yoga Alliance. She was born in Chicago, IL, and is fluent in English, Croatian, and Serbian. 
Mr. Andrew joined Keystone in 2025 and is excited to mentor within the Montessori community. He has been fortunate enough to gain a variety of experiences, from working in the mountains of the Rockies, to chauffeuring throughout the Phoenix area. Ultimately, he has a passion for helping others, and is looking forward to a tremendous school year.
Ms. Anny joined Keystone in 2019. She holds a bachelor's degree in physical therapy from Instituto Tecnologico de Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and is a certified AMI Primary assistant. She has been working in a Montessori environment for over 20 years as a Spanish primary teacher and a Montessori assistant. Ms. Anny is originally from the Dominican Republic and moved to Arizona in 2002. In her spare time, she enjoys working out at the gym and cooking and baking. She is fluent in Spanish and English.
Ms. Bahareh joined Keystone in 2015. She has an associate's degree in Computer Information Systems from South Mountain Community College. She worked as a math and reading Instructional Assistant with the Kyrene school district for 14 years and is certified as an AMI Elementary Assistant. She enjoys reading, gardening, painting, traveling, and learning about other cultures. She is originally from Iran and is fluent in Farsi and English.
Ms. Beth joined Keystone in 2023. During this time she has been a Float, Aftercare Coordinator, and The Red-tailed Hawks Assistant. She received her Montessori Assistant Certification in 2025. Beth is a Native Arizonan from Tucson. She enjoys the great outdoors, the University of Arizona, bright fun glasses, and earrings.
Ms. Blanca joined Keystone in 2016. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University and a Master of Science in Montessori Education from Loyola University Maryland. She has her Association Montessori Internationale Primary Level Diploma. Originally from Mexico, Ms. Blanca is fluent in Spanish and English.
Ms. Briceida joined Keystone in 2025. She plays the flute, clarinet, and the piano. In her free time she enjoys creative subjects and spends time doing arts and crafts.
Ms. Carol joined Keystone in 2024. She is originally from Minnesota and in her spare time, she enjoys reading, swimming, biking, and traveling.
Ms. Chelsei joined Keystone in 2021. She has a certificate in Veterinary Medicine and an AMI diploma in Assistance to Infancy from the Southwest Institute of Montessori Studies. Ms. Chelsei is a fourth generation Arizonian and a former Keyestone student. In her spare time, she volunteers with rescue animals, enjoys paddle boarding, and hiking. Ms. Chelsei is passionate about guiding young toddlers as they shape thier independence andsense of self.
Ms. Daisy joined Keystone in 2024. She has an associate's degree in Fine Arts from Phoenix College and a bachelor's degree in Earth & Environmental Studies from ASU. They have worked in the field of education for five years. She likes to take on creative projects such as drawing/painting and trying new things, cook and bake, spend time outdoors, hang out with friends, and care for their plants in her free time. She was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, and is fluent in English and Spanish. 
Ms. Daniela joined Keystone in 2021. She is originally from Mexico City, Mexico, and has lived in the United States since she was two years old. Ms. Daniela has the AMI 0-6 Orientation certification from the Southwest Institute of Montessori Studies and also holds an Association Montessori Internationale Primary Diploma. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family. Ms. Daniela is fluent in Spanish and English. 
Ms. Danielle has worked at Keystone since 2009. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Technical Insurance Studies from the University of St. Joseph in Beirut, Lebanon, and an associate’s degree in French and Arabic literature and philosophy from College de La Sainte Famille Francaise. She is certified as an Assistant through AMI. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and baking. Ms. Danielle is originally from Lebanon and is fluent in Arabic, French, and English.
Ms. Deisy joined Keystone in 2023. She is originally from Merida, Venezuela, and has worked with children for over 18 years. Ms. Deisy is proud to be part of the amazing process of learning from each other and believes that life is happiest when surrounded by friends and family. She is able to create family wherever she goes. Ms. Deisy is fluent in Spanish and English.
Ms. Denise joined Keystone in 2025. She was born in Florida, grew up in San Luis Obispo, California, and moved to Phoenix with her family in 2018. Ms. Denise obtained her Degree in Business and has a Diploma in Comprehensive Approach in Adolescent Psychology.  In her free time she likes to do various arts and crafts, enjoys traveling, and spending time with her three daughters. 
Mr. Gerry joined Keystone in 2008. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, with an emphasis in Music Business Management. He founded Music for the Ages, a program that brings music classes, instruction, and entertainment to the community. In addition to his regular music schedule, Mr. Gerry offers after-school music classes and private lessons to enrich Keystone students further. He is the Arizona instructor for Guitars and Ukuleles In The Classroom, a non-profit organization based in California that instructs teachers how to play guitar and ukulele and to use songs to teach their entire curriculum. He is the Worship Leader at his church, and plays in a jazz combo called Colour Blind. Mr. Gerry has been happily married to Linda, his wife, for over 40 years and has three married children and eleven grandchildren. He is originally from Whittier, California and lives in Northwest Phoenix.
Ms. Hellen joined Keystone in 2024. Born and raised in China, she recently moved to the United States. She has worked in primary and elementary environments as a co-guide in a bilingual elementary classroom and holds an Association Montessori Internationale Elementary Diploma. Ms. Hellen enjoys cooking, reading, and handwork and has a keen interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is fluent in Mandarin and English and is excited to share her rich cultural background with our students. 
Ms. Imelda joined Keystone in 2002. She holds a bachelor's in Elementary Education and a Master of Arts in Education from the University of San Carlos, Cebu City, Philippines. She has an American Montessori Society Primary certification from Notre Dame Seishin University, Japan, and an Association Montessori Internationale Primary Level Diploma. In her downtime, Ms. Imelda can be found with a good book. She is originally from the Philippines and is fluent in Filipino and English.
Ms. Jacque joined Keystone in 2022. She has a bachelor's in Education Special Education and a master’s in Reading Education from Grand Canyon University. She also holds a doctorate in Curriculum & Instruction from Northern Arizona University. Ms. Jacque loves exercising, doing outdoor activities, cooking, and traveling. She and her husband enjoy spending as much time as feasible with their three grown sons. She was born and raised in Arizona and grew up on a dairy farm. 
Ms. Janelle joined Keystone in 2014. She worked as a paraprofessional & classroom assistant with Valley public schools and is certified as an AMI Elementary Assistant. Ms. Janelle enjoys spending time with her son and camping with family. She is originally from California.
Ms. Julia joined Keystone in 2025. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies/Education from the University of Redlands and a Master's Degree in Special Education from Arizona State University. Ms. Julia is a Teach for America Alumni. She is originally from England and moved to Southern California with her family as a child. Ms. Julia has three adult sons and two fabulous grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoys hanging out with her dog and friends, reading, and walking.

Ms.Katty joined Keystone in 2017 and has been a dedicated Montessori guide for over 25 years. She received her first Montessori training from Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico and in 2019, earned her Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) Elementary Diploma from the Southwest Institute of Montessori Studies here in Arizona. Originally from Mexico and fluent in Spanish, Ms. Katty enjoys sharing her culture and language with the children, helping them learn about diversity in a natural and meaningful way. Before joining the school, she worked in a variety of Montessori environments across different age levels, deepening her understanding of child development and the Montessori philosophy. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, exploring new cultures through travel, and spending quality time with her family.

Ms. Kelsey joined Keystone in 2023. She has worked in childcare for seven years and is a trained yoga instructor through the Authentic Yoga Teaching Program. Ms. Kelsey was raised in Arizona and attended school in Chicago, where she began working toward her degree in Early Childhood Education. She has completed the AMI 0-6 Orientation training at the Southwest Institute of Montessori Studies and also holds an Association Montessori Internationale Primary Diploma. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family and being outdoors.
Ms. Keny joined Keystone in 2022. She is originally from El Salvador, where she completed her law degree. Ms. Keny has the AMI 0-6 certification from the Southwest Institute of Montessori Studies. She is fluent in Spanish and English.
Ms. Kimberly joined Keystone in 2025. She was born and raised in Phoenix, and is pursuing her associate's degree. Ms. Kimberly is committed to continued growth and learning. In her spare time Kimberly enjoys traveling and cherishes time with her family.
Mr. Leon joined Keystone in 2004 and helped start the adolescent program. He has his Montessori Orientation to Adolescent Studies and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma. Mr. Leon is originally from Mexico and is fluent in Spanish and English.
Ms. Liz joined Keystone in 2021. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation from the University of Arizona and has completed her AMI Orientation Course for Elementary assistants. Born and raised in Arizona, she grew up in Nogales and speaks Spanish fluently. Ms. Liz homeschooled her two daughters until the 10th grade. She enjoys reading, doing puzzles, baking, and sharing a good cup of coffee with friends in her spare time.
Ms. Logann joined Keystone in 2025. She was born and raised in Arizona. Ms. Logann attended Arizona State University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech and Hearing and Master's degree in elementary education and special education. In her free time she enjoys exercising, reading, shopping and spending time with her husband and daughters.
Ms Lucía joined Keystone in 2025. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences from Universidad del Noroeste. Ms. Lucia has worked in special education for over 20 years. She is originally from Mexico, and moved to Arizona in 2019.
Ms. Luz joined in 2025. She was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. Ms. Luz enjoys spending her spare time reading, fishing, hiking, camping, and traveling with her family. She also has a passion for photography, and is fluent in both Spanish and English.
Ms. Makayla joined Keystone in 2024. She has worked with children for the past eight years and is originally from Ohio. In her spare time, she enjoys jewelry making, spending time outdoors, and rollerblading.
Ms. Mina joined Keystone in 2025. She is originally from California, but was raised in Phoenix. Ms. Mina holds an Assistance to Infancy diploma, and has worked in Montessori environments for over ten years. She enjoys cooking for her family and crafting. Ms. enjoys returning to California in the summer to spend time at the beach, and is fluent in English and Spanish.
Ms. Nicky joined Keystone in 2024. She is working toward achieving her associate's degree and has been working with children for nine years. Ms. Nicky is an Arizona native, and enjoys gardening and plants.  In her spare time enjoys spending time with her friends, her niece and nephew, and creating art.
Ms. Promise joined Keystone in 2024. She holds a bachelor's degree in education and holds an Association Montessori Internationale Elementary Diploma from the Southwest Institute for Montessori Studies. Ms. Promise is originally from Colorado, and in her spare time she enjoys yoga, hiking, and camping.
Ms. Samantha joined Keystone in 2022. She holds an Elementary Diploma from AMI after completing her studies at SIMS. She also holds a B.S. in Hotel, Restaurant, Tourism Managment, and is a certified sommelier through CMS. Samantha has lived and traveled to many places both near and far and still loves traveling whenever possible. Her hobbies include cooking and baking, knitting, playing games, and pickleball. 
Ms. Sara joined Keystone in 2018.  She earned her AMI Elementary diploma from The Montessori Institute of San Diego.  She has a master’s in Montessori Education from Loyola Maryland and a master’s in Counselor Education from The University of Texas at Austin.  She is a certified School Counselor in Arizona and has completed the training course in Montessori Therapy through The Montessori Berufsverband in Munich, Germany.  She is originally from Texas and enjoys playing the piano and learning how to garden in the desert.  Ms. Sara also speaks Spanish.
Ms. Stephanie joined Keystone in 2023. She has an M.Ed. in International Education (International Baccalaureate) from the University of Melbourne, a Montessori Early Childhood Practice certification from Montessori Centre International, a bachelor's degree in Anthropology from the University of Texas, and an AMI Elementary Diploma from Montessori Northwest. Originally from Maryland, Ms. Stephanie returned to the States after living in Japan for 16 years. She is fluent in English and dabbled in Japanese.
Ms. Sydney joined Keystone in 2023. She has an associate's in graphic design and a certificate in photography. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, camping, and off-roading with her husband.
Tori joined Keyestone in 2025, and has been working in elementary and special education since 2021. Tori is a Keystone Montessori alumni and has very fond memories of the time spent at Keystone as a student. Outside of the classroom, Tori enjoys spending time with friends and family, and a pet cat named Clementine. Some of Tori's hobbies include reading, swimming, basketball, hiking, and camping. 
Ms. Valeria joined Keystone in 2024. She has a bachelor's degree in Biotechnology and has worked with children and adolescents for the past seven years. She is originally from Mexico and is fluent in Spanish and English. 
Ms. Yoo-Kyung has been with Keystone since its inception in 1995. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Yonsei University and an Association Montessori Internationale Primary Level Diploma. Both of her daughters attended Keystone. Ms. Yoo-Kyung enjoys learning new recipes by watching Food Network episodes and making them for her family. She is originally from Seoul, South Korea, and is fluent in Korean and English.
