Happy New Year Prickly Pears families!
We hope you had an amazing winter break! The Prickly Pears children shared their winter break experiences during “Circle Time” describing every event vividly.
During this week, we welcomed Enzo Barbera to the classroom. Welcome again Enzo! The Prickly Pears children have been guiding and supporting their new classmate helping him familiarize with his new classroom’s dynamics. We also welcomed Zoltan Camp to the Prickly Pears classroom. Zoltan is going to join us on Monday, January 12th. Zoltan started visiting our Children’s House environment demonstrating enthusiasm while exploring and observing. We wish Zoltan a happy and smooth transition to his new classroom environment.
We already started celebrating the life and achievements of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., one of the greatest African American civil rights leader. The children are having the opportunity to learn about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s contributions, vision, and legacy. Respect, unity, peace, equality, community, and love are some important concepts highlighted during our circle time activities.
We happily celebrated Micah’s fourth birthday. We sang the traditional “Happy Birthday” song in English and Spanish and Micah kindly shared some delicious ice cream sandwiches with his classmates. Thank you and happy birthday again, Micah!
We are also so pleased to announce that we are going to experience personally our annual Keystone Montessori Journey that will be held on Friday, January 30th (Part I) from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm and Saturday, January 31st (Part II) from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm. More information about this amazing event will be sent.
We are also so glad to announce that our traditional Children’s House Peace Program is coming soon. The Children’s House students are already practicing their beautiful Peace Program songs. The Children’s House Peace Program will be held on Wednesday, February 11 from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Keystone Gym. More information about this magnificent event will be sent.
