The new semester has begun, and we are so happy to welcome the children back to school with such energy and enthusiasm! This week, the children did an excellent job transitioning back into school life. From the very first day, they returned to their work routines smoothly and with great focus.
This semester, we are also excited to welcome two new members to our classroom community—our gecko, Oreo, and our fish, Flame. The children have been thoughtfully and lovingly caring for them each day, demonstrating responsibility and kindness.
On the first day back, the children immediately engaged in meaningful work. They explored new lessons, conducted research, and shared their own written stories with the class. Two students performed songs for their classmates, and three students proudly presented their research on the Titanic. It has been wonderful to see their confidence, creativity, and joy in learning.
On the evening of January 29th, we will be holding an overnight experience. More detailed information will be sent home with students next Monday. Whether or not your child will be participating, please be sure to return the permission slip by January 16th.
At the end of the month, the school will host Montessori Journey, providing families an opportunity to learn more about Montessori education and observe the classroom environment:
- January 30th from 6:00–7:30 p.m.
- January 31st from 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
