“The more the capacity to concentrate is developed, the more often the profound tranquility in work is achieved, then the clearer will be the manifestation of discipline within the child.” Maria Montessori, The Child in the Family, Page 38.
Another amazing week in the Prickly Pears classroom!
This week, the children continued practicing their Holidays’ songs to be ready to perform in our traditional “Cookie Exchange” event that is going to take place on Thursday, December 11th from 6:00-7:00 pm at the gym. “Twelve Days of Christmas”, “Must be Santa”, “Jingle Bells”, “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer”, “Frosty the Snowman”, “We Wish You a Merry Christmas”, “I Have a Little Dreidel”, “Feliz Navidad”, and “Hanukkah” are some of the Holidays’ songs that the Prickly Pears children are learning and practicing. The “Cookie Exchange” sign up list is already placed by the sign-in/sign-out sheet for you to choose your preferred choice of cookies to share. Please, do not forget to place them in a beautiful tray to share them!
Please, dress up your child with their best holiday outfit to perform on stage. As a friendly reminder, drop off your child at the lobby at 5:45 pm and go to the gym to find the best place to enjoy the recital. We cannot wait!
