Welcome to November!
We have been enjoying watching our garden grow. The children planted lettuce, kale, spinach, arugula, tomatoes, carrots, herbs, corn and flowers. They have been growing rapidly, and the children are so excited to observe and harvest when they are ready. We have also enjoyed welcoming the parents into the classroom for observations. Thank you for coming and we will continue to welcome other families this month.
Our beautiful Fall Festival Art Project turned out fantastic! We love it, especially that it is an interactive puzzle along with a beautiful art piece for the wall. Hopefully you have had the chance to see it and want to bid on it at the Fall Festival!! Thank you so much to our Classroom Keys who came to help the children make the project a success! You guys are awesome.
Don't forget to buy your tickets for the Fall Festival on November 8th, we can't wait to see everyone there!
Upcoming Events:

Iguanas Family Potluck at Desert Foothills Park: November 13th at 5:30
Every year we have an Iguanas Traditional Thanksgiving Potluck for the kids and teachers in the classroom. Your child will sign up for a dish to bring that day and share with the class. Start thinking about what you would like to bring and discuss with your child. You can choose a traditional dish, a dish from another country or just a dish your family loves to cook around this time of year. They will sign up by themselves here in the classroom. We will send more information as the time gets closer. This potluck will be on November 25th.
If you would like to volunteer to bring turkey for that day, please email the teachers as every year we have one family cook the turkey or bring turkey slices.
We look forward to a fun filled November!
With Love,
Ms. Katty and Ms. Janelle
