Dear Families,
We are so excited to welcome the month of September in the Agaves classroom! The children are settling beautifully into their daily routines and are showing growing independence in caring for themselves and their environment. We welcome September with excitement and discover the changing season around them. The theme for this month is Fall, colors & shapes!
We will be observing the beauty of the new season by washing apples, working with the dressing frames to practice buttoning and zipping sweaters, identifying shapes in nature and reading books representing the Fall season.
This month we continue practicing gentle hands, waiting turns, and respecting each other’s work. If you have any Fall theme books for us to borrow, you can send them in with your child!
We are looking forward to a wonderful September filled with nature walks (weather permitting), colorful art, and joyful exploration of fall’s shapes and colors.
