Many thanks again to everyone who attended our parent night event this month. In the words of Dr. Montessori, “…regard the child’s intelligence as a fertile field in which seeds may be sown, to grow under the heat of flaming imagination.” The extra time and attention you have spent at home with your children over these last 10 months is not unnoticed and it will not be made useless. Thank you for your messages of encouragement and hope to me while our distance learning has continued! Your support and encouragement means a lot! Now more than ever we seem to “be in this together”. Let’s sow as many seeds as possible and see what comes when we find ourselves on the other side of all of this!
Lessons over the last two weeks have included: Sea Breeze/Land Breeze, Names of the Months of the Year, Drawing Stars, Square Root with Decimal Extension, Division of Fractions, Anchorage Roots, Storage Roots, Reproductive Roots, Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome, Root Modifications, Art of Ancient Greece, Geometric Construction (Proofs), Number Patterns, Subject and Verb Agreement, Climate and Weather, Decimal Operations, Percent Conversions, Flora of the Torrid Zone, and Art of Ancient Greece.
