January Update

 

Hello Parents and Happy New Year!

 

Everyone is elated to return to school and doing great work to get back into the swing of everything!

Conference Reports for the Fall Semester should be in your inboxes as of Friday afternoon, sent as a pdf attachment.

Please remember drop-off/pick-up each week will be taking place on Fridays, 3:00p - 5:00p.  The basket will most likely stay near or around the front office into the start of the following week in the event you are only available to stop by then.  Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions!

Lessons so far this year have included: The Torrid Zone, River Studies, Root Variety, Root Modifications, Parts of the Root Tip, 7 Phyla in Animal Classification, Ancient Civilizations, Names of the Months of the Year, Indo-European Languages, BCE/CE Calendar, Adena and Hopewell Cultures, 7 Years War: French and Indian War, The Boston Tea Party, Dynamic Operations, Word Problems for GCF and LCM, Place Value, Operations with Fractions, Drawing Stars with Geometric Construction, and Srt in Mesopotamia.

Dates and events to keep in mind for the remainder of this month:

January 19th at 6:00pm will be our first Community and Classroom meeting of the new year! Please RSVP through School Cues.

The Montessori Journey will be held virtually on Saturday, January 30th. Invitations and additional information will be sent out soon.
