This post marks the last for the year 2020!
Final pick up/drop off day for the semester will be tomorrow, Wednesday, December 16th, from 2:00p - 4:30p. Please check your child’s hanging file for any work going home. You will also find a gift swap labeled with your child’s name and a small brown paper goodie bag, also marked with your child’s name. Thank you for helping to get these things home!
We will have a presentation and craft day this week on Thursday, December 17th, and our half day Friday will be our Holiday Party.
Lessons to finish the year include geometric construction, rock formations, ratio and proportion, prime factors, graphing on an X, Y coordinate plane, tangrams, word problems, volume, stomata, powers of 2, powers of 10, the Pueblo, 4 stages of the water cycle, calculating surface area, area of a triangle, the Navajo, the Timeline of American History, and the Anasazi. We heard presentations on Lego, Giraffes, and Otters.
During this time of year, I am reminded of the gift I have in the Keystone community. I’m grateful for the opportunity to guide and learn from your children. Wishing you all a warm and happy holiday.
