The past couple of weeks have included lessons on building the body, medicine and sports among the Aztec, Inca, and Maya, decimal multiplication, polygons, literature: story plot, U.S. History timeline, zentangle, finding an outlier in a data set, finding the relationship of the polygon to the circle, writing an outline, sum of angles, illustrating a pentagon and pentagram, converting percentages from fractions, making a Prezi presentation, parts of a flower, kingdom vegetalia, powers of two, magic squares, square root of numbers <999, freehand mandala, writing descriptive paragraphs, doing computer-based research, ecology: ocean food systems, and building the trinomial and hierarchical cubes.
The Diamondbacks have decided on the basis for our class play and our writers have begun their work on the script! Our class will be performing the finished product at our potluck event, Monday, April 1, 2019. Please keep your calendars cleared!
Our class continues its drive to help fund goodies for Daisy. Our “Chinchilla Change Roundup” is open for your donations of loose change to help cover the residual costs once applying our grant award for a new cage, a new feeder, new hay, a new swing, and apple chewies. Anything helps :)
