Dear Coyotes Families,
The last few weeks have been busy, busy, busy!! Lessons have been given on Operations with Negative & Positive Numbers, Squaring & Cubing Numbers, Fractions with different Denominators, Compound & Complex Sentences, Verb Tenses, The Negative Form of the Verb, Editing, Writing Summaries & Biographies, Parts of Polygons, Equivalence, Functions of Roots, Interdependencies of Human Beings, The Clock of Eras, The Hand Timeline, Parts of parts of Flowers, Types of Succulent Fruit, Art Lines, Leaf Veination, and many more.
The Uganda group is getting ready to present their research and hopefully they will cook us a delicious Ugandan lunch! We also had presentations on the Solar System, Tattoos, Squaring, Dia de los Muertos, All Hallows Eve, the Clock of Eras, and many more are in the works.
We have been working on weeding and pruning our outdoor environment and are in the middle of planting our garden!
COMMUNITY SERVICE: Feed My Starving Children
We are looking forward to our first community service project on Monday, November 21st, 2022 at 9:30 am. Please send in your permission slips as soon as possible. Thank you to all the parents that volunteered to chaperone this trip!
CRYSTAL WATER MOSAIC TABLE:
Our beautiful auction project was on display at the Art Walk last weekend. We hope you got to see it! If not, please check out the pictures below. The students are thrilled with how it turned out.
OBSERVATIONS/CONFERENCES:
It has been such a pleasure to sit down and meet with you in person for conferences. If you haven’t yet signed up and would like to do so, please let me know.
COYOTES POTLUCK:
Our first potluck will be on November 21st, at Desert Foothills Park. Students have decided upon an Asian theme. Plan on joining us at 6:00 pm and meeting all the other Coyote Families. A Sign up from School Cues has been sent out.
