Dear Iguana Families,
Welcome back from Winter Break. We hope everyone enjoyed their time off and had a wonderful holiday season. We want to say a big heartfelt THANK YOU to all our families for our thoughtful holiday gifts and cards. We are filled with gratitude for your generosity and love. We feel very lucky to have the families that we have in the Iguanas classroom. Thank you, again!
We are happy to be back into the 2nd half of the school year and ready for new adventures and lots of learning. We came back to school to a beautiful full garden in our backyard environment that was ready to harvest. Some children harvested more lettuce, greens, cilantro, and radish. We enjoyed a delicious salad at lunchtime. The children love watching the whole process of how food is grown; planting, watering, observing, harvesting, and eating! They are happy to try what they have grown. We are patiently waiting for our carrots, tomatoes, and peppers to be ready to harvest.
