December Update

Hello Iguanas Families!

First of all we want to truly extend our gratitude and thankfulness to all our families for your patience, trust and support at this time. We are also thankful for your kind and gracious gift and thoughtful card. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU, we really appreciate it.  Thank you to all the children who wrote us letters! We love them so much :)

The children all went back to online learning and we miss them dearly. We believe things have been going well online and are always so impressed with how the children adjust without complaint!

This month we celebrated 3 birthdays. Happy birthday to Giovani, Riley and Ms. Janelle!! We celebrated by singing and the children wrote beautiful letters expressing a happy birthday! Enjoy your special day.

We learned about the Winter Solstice; Longest night and shortest day of the year. They watched a video and got a lesson on why this is. The children learned about how different cultures celebrate the Winter Solstice and why it is so important to many cultures. We also learned about different holidays around the world and how our own Iguanas children celebrate the holidays.

We had so much fun celebrating our last day together before break. The children wore pajamas, some had crazy hair, and we saw everyone's stuffed animals. We enjoyed coloring ornaments together and watching a movie.

We hope everyone has a safe and healthy New Years!! See you in 2021 :)

With Love,

Ms. Katty and Ms. Janelle
