Dear Iguanas Families,
Welcome back and Happy New Year! We are excited to start this semester with the children and get back to work. We hope you enjoyed some time off with your child and got some rest or had some fun adventures.
We will be starting our hiking season in February. If you know of any unique, beautiful or "cool" easy/moderate hiking trails close to Ahwatukee, please email Ms. Janelle. We celebrated our January birthdays today with a chocoalte torte. It was very delicious. Deanna also showed a beautiful timeline of her life with some wonderful pictures. Happy birthday Deanna and Serafina!
Some lessons we have been giving soon are Era of Clocks, squaring, propositions, constructive triangle, and equivalences. We also started with some more science experiments this week. Children have been working hard this week on researches and a lot of them presented them today. Some things we learned about today were Red Squirrel, Siberian Tiger, Paris France, Gorilla, and the Secretary Bird. Emili and Lilly presented a song to the class today with some dance moves. It was wonderful, we all enjoyed it very much!!!
Have a wonderful weekend
