December Update

Dear Great Horned Owls Families -

Hope everyone enjoyed the Fall Festival and thank you for supporting your child’s education. For those who were able to volunteer to set-up, during the event, or help clean-up on Sunday  thank you, thank you, thank you!

We definitely had a very nice Fall Feast right before going on Thanksgiving break. We have big eaters in our classroom where many had seconds and even thirds. No one went hungry. The children were excited to bring a family favorite dish.

Thank you to the families who so generously contributed soil and compost for our garden beds. A Keystone family, the Cardews, who are Master Gardeners came by and with the help of our students mixed all the soil and compost to get our garden ready for planting. Thank you Melissa Stefanek for helping our children plant some lettuce and kale seedlings.

Individual Meetings and Progress Reports:

We’ve been meeting individually to go over given lessons, follow-ups, and daily expectations. Productivity has gone up due to these meetings and everyone is happy mastering or practicing new skills. Our progress will be out at the end of the first week in January, so be on the look-out for an email from me.

Thank you for putting your full trust in us. Ms. Bahareh and I are so happy to be working with your child and watching him/her become an independent learner.
