Hello AZ Eagles Families!
Where did the month of January go?! We're continuing with our studies including persuasive texts and writing, advancing through our pre-algebra and algebra, science, occupations, and humanities. We will begin our third quarter research for humanities on the 30th. The 7th graders just finished Diary of a Young Girl and are moving on to King Arthur and His Knights of the Round Table. 8th graders are currently reading The Book Thief.
This month our class enjoyed a hike to the Superstition Mountains. We had a successful AZ Eagles Marketplace sale as well. We're excited for our year-end international trip to Spain, announced earlier this month. We were awarded a grant from Toshiba America Foundation to continue the development of our Keystone Community Garden. We look forward to hosting families for our upcoming Montessori Journey.
So many good things are happening in the AZ Eagles; too many to count!
